# Datastore Structure
The overview of the datastore structure
# Preamble
The datastore / file tree structure is the combined construct that is created by the client. It contains folders and items where folders can contain more folders and items. Each folder (or item) can be a share, while every item links a secret
This structure can be found usually in the "password datastores" and in "shares".
